Here you can post about anything on Adult Swim. Me, I personally like Family Guy, Harvey Birdman, The Boondocks, Aqua Teen Hunger force, Perfect Hair Forever, and Trigun.
When they had Case Closed on, I'd watch that. And before that, way back before that, I watched the show Kikaider (Another Anime).
Any idea why they are showing Pee-wee's playhouse??

I think someone that worked with adult swim actually liked it and was a little immature. Other than that i cant think of an other reason

Anyone care to explain what "Adult Swim" is? It's not a British thing

oh, sorry. On our local cartoon channel, Cartoon Network, they have a program for the older audience, called adult swim. It aires Saturday-Friday, 10 p.m. to dawn. Or before a little before sunrise.
It typically starts off with animated comedy-related shows, most shows of which involve adult themes, innuendo, crude humour, yadda yadda yadda. (No nudity).
Around 12 the anime shows come on, most of which are action, rather than comedy.

Oh...allright.
The plot focuses around a 15 year old high school student named Ichigo Kurosaki. Ever since he was young, Ichigo could see ghosts and such. One day he see's a young girl's spirit being chased by a demon-like creature. The creature is suddenly slain by a katana-wielding short-haired chick. That night the girl comes into his room, and Ichigo finds out she's a Death god, sent by the Soul Society (Otherwise known as heaven) to extinguish the demon he saw earlier. She explains that the demons, or better known as hollows, attack living people and wandering spirits, and eat their souls up.
She's suprised that he can see her, since she is technically not amongst the living either. A hollow she was tracking attacks Ichigo's house, and assaults Ichigo's two younger sisters, Karin and Yuzu. One thing leads to another, and the death god becomes injured in the brawl while saving Ichigo from an attack.
The death god (Known as Rukia) asks Ichigo if he's willing to become a temporary death god to save his family. He accepts, and as the hollow is about to strike, Ichigo allows Rukia to stab him above the heart with her katana, thusly allowing her to transfer her powers to him. Ichigo's get-up changes and he inherits her sword, albeit being altered in size and shape. Its now larger and considerably more powerful. Ichigo then annihilates the hollow in an actiony climactic ending to episode 1.
In episode 2, Rukia uses a Gigai (I thinks thats how its spelled) which is an emergency physical body only used for extreme cases, while she gets her powers back. Until then, she camps out in Ichigo's closet and goes to school as a "transfer student". She tells Ichigo that he must do her work, slaying hollows and sending souls to the Soul society, while she recovers her lost power.
There.
