"If you think that means anything, you're definitely mistaken!"
"What, you think you can't trust me?"
"No, I know we can't trust you!"
Gabe stood from her seat. "I understand. Trust has to be earned. But know this. We're comrades now and we will fight together whether you like it or not." she said and walked out of the room.
"Ooooooh!! Rei-chan too mean!!" Usagi scolded.
"No, I was being rational. We don't know if we can really trust her or not."
"True. But to be honest, you were a little harsh."
Ami said nothing. Instead, she left to follow the new Senshi.
Well, that was a fine "Welcome to the team" meeting. Even though I know what she was getting at, she shouldn't have said such harsh things abou-- Her thought was interrupted by a familiar voice.
"Puratekuta-san...." Ami said from behind her. "Please don't hate Rei-chan. She's a good person, but....she's very cautious when it comes to new friends."
She turned to face the younger girl. "I understand what she meant. The only way she'll accept me as a friend is if I help and get to know her." She then turned back around and continued on her way.
"Where're you going, then?"
"Home. My first day in school starts tomorrow." she answered without stopping.
The next morning, Gabe stood on front of her new school, Mugen University. This high school is very exclusive and it was a miracle that Gabe was even considered to be enrolled there. She just stood there nervously gawking at the building until....
"Hello. Are you new?"
She turned around and saw a very beautiful marine blue-haired young woman. "Uhh.......I.......umm, hai."
She laughed a little. "You must be if you're stuttering like that. I'm Kaioh Michiru."
"IamPureatekutaGabriellaitisapleasuretomeetyou!" she said too quickly for most to understand and bowed.Aw, what am I doing!?! That was so lame!! She probably thinks I'm a total doof now!!
She laughed again. "It's a pleasure to meet you too, Gabriella-san."
"....umm, actually, I prefer 'Gabe'."
"Okay, Gabe-san."
Right at that moment, an effeminate young man walked up beside Michiru. "Hello. Is there a problem?"
Gabe was speechless. She not into girls......but even though I am, why do I have this feeling for him, too...?
"Not at all. We're just chatting." she replied. "Have a good first day, Gabe-san."
As they walked past her, Gabe felt like a total putz. Why me..... She then sighed.
"What was that really about?"
"Nothing. Besides the obvious infatuation with me, I sense a growing power within her."
"You don't mean...."
"I do. She could be our ally."
The first day in a new school was always the same for her. Gabe memorized the schedule, met new friends and almost dislocated a few perverts' shoulders. Not to mention joining a few clubs and sports teams that peaked her interests. But there was one event that was different.
"Umm, sumimasen." she said to the man she met earlier.
"Yes? Can I help y--Oh, you're the one Michiru was talking to this morning."
"Y-Yes. I'm Puratekuta Gabriella."
" I'm Tenoh Haruka. It's a pleasure."
Same here. I'd like to ask you something, if you don't mind us going somewhere more private."
"Not at all. Let's go into one of these empty classrooms."
They walked around the hallways, looking into every room to see if one of them was empty. Once one was found, the qalked inside and closed the door.
"What is it you wanted to know?"
"Please forgive me for this...." Gabe then grabbed onto Haruka's collar and split open his shirt to reveal........breasts.
"What the hell!?!" she shouted, blushing.
"Gomen nasai, but I had to know." she said, also blushing.
Closing up her shirt, Haruka turned toward her. "Well, now hat you know, could you keep it a secret?"
"Y-Yeah, sure. But why do you want to keep your gender a secret?"
She thought for a few moments. "Hmm. I'm not really sure. I guess it's because I developed a reputation as a 'ladies man' and I'd be ridiculed if everyone found out I was a cross-dresser. Even more if they found out I'm a lesbian."
"Heh. That's different with me."
She looked at Gabe, "How so?"
She smiled. "I don't care who knows that I'm a lesbian. It's who I am and I don't try to hide it."
"That's brave of you. But, I don't think I can do it." Haruka said, her head lowered.
Gabe then gave her a small hug. "It's your choice and you don't have to change it if you don't want to."
"Arigatou." Their eyes locked and they leaned in for a kiss when....
WHAM!!! Michiru suddenly slams the door shut.
"What do you think you're doing!?!"
"We can explain!!" They both were afraid for their lives. Nothing's scarier than a jealous lover, and they knew it. "I asked Haruka-san to come in here because I was curious about something. We were just talking." She might've been scared witless, but she looked and sounded as calm as can be.
Michiru looked into Gabe's eyes for a moment and smiled. "I believe you. But," There's always a "but". "But, I want to know why you were curious about her."
That broke her calm facade. "Well, umm......" She lowered her head. "I-I..........have feelings........for the both of you...."
The two first-year students were shocked.
"Both..."
"...of us..?"
"I've never been attracted to any guys before, so I was really confused. I asked Haruka-san to come here because I wanted to know if I was attracted to a man or not."
There was an awkward silence which was broken by.......................Michiru's laughter.
"That is so cute!"
Hearing that made Gabe really happy. The three then exited the building together
In celebration of her first day, Gabe had decided to treat herself to a shopping spree. From clothes to shoes to various knickknacks she felt she needed (and some she got just in case). With each item from each store, the young woman felt happier and happier. But late afternoon, she was happy enough to sing. And she would've, but another voice echoed a very inconspicuous song throughout the area.
In the next instant, every customer, salesclerk, and civilians in the immediate area started to act as though in a trance and walk zombie-like toward the ocean.
Youma..... Gabe thought as she placed her bags behind the nearest tree. She then took out her phone and called the others.
Makoto answered first. "Hai?"
"I've found a youma. It's using a song to lure people to the waterfront."
"We're on our way!"
The instant she pocketed the phone, Gabe stood in her transformation post. "SOLAR COSMIC POWER!!!!"
After the flash dissipated, Sailor Sol ran in the direction the hypnotized people were headed.
Not long afterwards, Sol, followed by the other Senshi, reached the sea. There, they saw a fair-skinned blonde young woman who had seashells and pearls in her hair, around her waist as a belt and as a top. There was also a skirt made of seaweed.
"Who, or what, is that?"
Before anyone could say more than a syllable, Sol spoke up. "Siren. She's a creature from Greek mythology whose song lures unsuspecting seafarers to their doom." She then noticed a jewel on the Sire's necklace. "I can see her weak point! Let's go an--Guys?"
They have fallen under the Siren's spell.
I'm the only one immune.... Okay, think. If I attack now, all these people, including my friends, might die. I'll have to somehow counteract the spell. She then made an annoyed face. d**n, and I was in such a great mood, too..........wait, that's it! She then leaped onto a higher level and, after licking her lips, started singing.
Nothing happened at first, but then her voice reached the people's ears, freeing them from the spell.
Without stopping to catch her breath, Sol motioned the other Senshi to join in. All six voices synchronized and, after a number of moments, the Siren's jewel exploded. Just like the succubus, the Siren's shattered jewel released everyone's energy and, also like the succubus, the Siren disappeared with an aquamarine pendant remaining.
Relieved, and a little dizzy, Sol went back to the lower level and joined her comrades in celebration. Mars, however, glared silently at her.
"Do you trust me now?" Sol asked, her hand waiting for Mars'.
Their eyes locked, unmoving, for half a minute before.... "Yes." They shook and continued to celebrate.
The glint of the sunlight off the pendant directed Sol's attention. She was about to jump onto the beach to retrieve it when two unidentifiable yet familiar Senshi appeared and took it. They nodded to Sol before fleeing.
She is our ally after all."
"Yes. And we'll be seeing her a lot on and off the battleground."
Trying to identify who those two were, Sol was brought back to reality by Jupiter.
"What is it?"
",,,,nothing. I just thought I saw something." she answered.
Bags in hand, and happiness restored, Gabe marched all along the sidewalk as she softly sang.
"Wow, she seems really happy."
"Even her singing sounds happy."
Usagi interrupted them both. "You know why, right?"
They shook their heads.
"She's happy because she's in lyooooooooooooooooooooooove!!"
"How romantic!"
"And how, prey tell, do you know that?"
"I can tell these things."
"No, you can't!"
Ignoring their banter, Gabe just kept on her merry way
"What, you think you can't trust me?"
"No, I know we can't trust you!"
Gabe stood from her seat. "I understand. Trust has to be earned. But know this. We're comrades now and we will fight together whether you like it or not." she said and walked out of the room.
